Hunter Amenities is looking for a reliable and hands-on individual to fill the role of Logistics Associate/Data Entry Clerk. The Data Entry Clerk’s primary role is to regularly update existing database system records, working in our Logistics department at the Oakville office.
This is an on-site role - 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Regularly update existing database system records of daily shipping into Excel
Verification of shipment documentation of outbound material
Coding and entry of freight invoices to be entered into system to be paid by Accounting team
Daily filing of orders
Processing of outbound orders, including packing slips, invoice, BOL, customs
Tracks and communicates all shipments to the appropriate personnel
Maintains all files, transportation documents, and reports in an organized manner
Assists with any other administrative duties as required
Qualifications and Experience
Secondary High school diploma
1-3 years in a similar role
Logistics/Transportation experience an asset
Experience with Microsoft Office programs
Capacity to perform your duties diligently, particularly during stressful periods
Excellent communication and written skills
Problem solving skills and highly organized
Works well under pressure with the ability to multi-task
Must be a team player, technically competent and flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
