The Opportunity:
As our Business Development Manager in this thriving region, you'll spearhead strategic initiatives to propel business growth, forge lasting partnerships with key stakeholders, and uncover new avenues for success in the hospitality industry with our renowned brand and innovative products. Leveraging your expertise, we'll navigate the dynamic market landscape, cement our presence, delight our customers, and unlock their full potential.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement business strategies in the designated region, and identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities
Foster strong relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; and recommending profit and service improvements.
Deliver appropriate presentations on the company, products/ services
Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions.
Negotiate/close deals and work with the internal team to resolve the complaints or objections
Work closely with other departments such as product, supply chain, finance, and marketing, to exceed customer needs
Participate on behalf of the company in industry conferences, exhibitions, or summits
Success will be measured by the attainment of sales targets and completion of KPI, as well as global and regional goals.
Coach, motivate, and provide direction to the team
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, management, or hospitality
At least 5 years of proven success in a customer service role, preferred to have prior hospitality, B2B, and consumer goods industry experience
Experience working in an MNC environment and dealing with global clients
Experience selling to and creating/maintaining relationships with purchasers/operators/owners at the property level.
High proficiency in English, and excellent communication in Mandarin
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Strong ability to influence is critical to success. Must be able to make a significant impact without authority.
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
Possesses quality leadership skills with experience to lead and manage teams
