The Opportunity: We are looking for a Packaging Coordinator who can support our Product Team in maintaining artwork integrity, ensuring clear specifications, and driving efficiency in the product development process while aligning with the Brand Owner and regulatory standards for Products manufactured in the APAC region.
This role requires close collaboration with factories, distributors, and Brand Owners to develop high-quality, regulation-compliant packaging labels and render images that support commercial and marketing initiatives This is a permanent role based in Melbourne, reporting to the Product Lead– APAC.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end packaging development process—collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to gather key inputs, briefing designers on multi-market and multilingual requirements, and ensuring packaging is accurate, visually aligned, compliant, and fully production-ready.
Create high-quality renderings for current and upcoming programs; coordinate with factories to obtain required images in support of marketing presentations and launch materials.
Maintain and update relevant processes and documentation to ensure workflow efficiency and version control.
Qualifications & Experience:
Basic understanding of amenity formulation and packaging material knowledge to ensure specifications listed on the artwork are accurate.
Understanding of APAC/Middle East/Greater China labelling requirements to ensure packaging labels adhere to local regulations.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or design.
2 to 4 years of experience in a packaging coordinator or a related field, preferably with FMCG and manufacturing experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Excel (i.e., VLOOKUP, CONCAT, etc.), excellent communication, and project management skills. Experience in rendering is desirable.
Ability to maintain strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Due to the nature of this role, which involves working with international colleagues and interpreting technical documents, high proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required.
