The Opportunity: We are looking for a candidate who can support our supply chain data mining and BI reporting establishment. This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager in Singapore. This is a 1-year contract with convertible opportunity.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for collecting, analyzing, validating, and managing Supply Chain related data and establishing BI reports for the APAC region.
Understand and translate user requirement analysis into analytics, reporting requirements and extraction/transformation/loading rules for the development & implementation of new data mart applications.
Identify and document business attributes and metrics by analysing existing data and report requirements.
Perform technical data mapping for potential sources of data for data warehousing.
Liaise closely with the Supply Chain team and the IT team or ERP SYS. Vendor to design, configure, and perform testing (e.g. system integration testing, user acceptance testing) phases prior to implementation.
Responsible for training the relative supply chain team member on how to prepare the operation data using our reporting templates.
Responds to data-related questions and coordinates with stakeholders to resolve data issues.
Update and maintain necessary processes and documents.
Qualifications & Experience:
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics etc
1 or 2 years of data management experience. Preferable on Data Warehouse, ETL rules, data modelling and design with Power BI applications. Fresh graduates with internship experiences are welcome.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin with the ability to read, write, and speak for the business operating systems.
Excellent Excel skills, strong MS-SQL, power query, and ERP Database scripting
Adaptable and meticulous with strong analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Knowledge and understanding of the supply chain process and manufacturing industry is a plus.
