Role Purpose: As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for organizing, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities within our facility. You will ensure the efficient operation and reliability of equipment and systems, minimizing downtime and enhancing equipment reliability. You will collaborate closely with the maintenance team, production, and scheduling departments, ensuring compliance with safety, GMP, and regulatory standards.
Shift Timing: 7:00am-3:15pm
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and update PMs (Preventive Maintenance) in Megamation based on manufacturer recommendations and historical data.
Plan, prioritize, and coordinate PMs, corrective actions, and resources to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
Ensure required parts, materials, tools, and labor are available for tasks, minimizing downtime.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for unscheduled repairs and incidental equipment failures.
Manage PM work order assignments, ensuring rotation for staff exposure across equipment.
Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of PMs.
Work with the maintenance administrator to generate and assign PMs.
Oversee PM work order progress and closure, ensuring all activities are documented and tracked
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels for spare parts and tools required for maintenance activities.
Coordinate with the administrator to procure necessary parts and materials for scheduled activities.
Work closely with the maintenance manager, production, and scheduling teams to align maintenance activities with production timelines.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding expected downtimes and maintenance impacts on production.
Participate in root cause analysis for recurring issues and help implement solutions.
Propose improvements to processes, equipment, tools, training, and systems to maintain and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent technical certification (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or related roles, preferably in industrial manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP, AS400, Megamation).
Proficient in reading mechanical and electrical drawings.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
