Marketing Coordinator (Melbourne)

The Marketing Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the marketing team, responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager with execution of the marketing strategy for the APAC region ensuring alignment with global requirements. The role requires the individual to execute campaigns, events, and other communications while ensuring alignment with the overarching business objectives.  This role demands a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates exceptional organisational skills, and has the ability to work seamlessly across diverse cultures and markets within the APAC region. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Marketing Strategy Execution:
    • Implement regional marketing initiatives as outlined in the strategic plan.
    • Coordinate the localisation of global campaigns to meet regional needs.
  2. Campaign and Event Management:
    • Organise and execute events, tradeshows, and exhibitions within the region.
    • Implement and roll-out digital campaigns & timelines, ensuring all deliverables are met across digital channels.
    • Collaborate with brands and partners to deliver high-quality outputs.
  3. Content Development and Coordination:
    • Adapt marketing materials to suit regional audiences, ensuring relevance and cultural sensitivity.
    • Support the creation of email campaigns, social media posts, and other digital assets.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the sales team to provide marketing support for lead generation and client engagement.
    • Act as a liaison between regional offices and the central marketing team.
  5. Data and Reporting:
    • Constantly monitor performance of marketing campaigns, collecting data for analysis and reporting.
    • Provide regular updates on campaign effectiveness and areas for improvement.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Track expenses and maintain records of marketing expenditures across the regional marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  7. Travel and Cultural Engagement:
    • Travel within the APAC region as needed to support events and collaborate with local teams.
    • Foster strong relationships by understanding and respecting cultural differences.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proven experience managing projects and events from start to finish.
  • Digital Marketing Campaign experience integrating
  • Strong proficiency in marketing tools and digital CRM software (e.g., Hubspot CRM, email marketing tools, and project management systems).
  • Experience working in multicultural environments is a plus.
