Role Purpose:

The Compounder batches a large variety of raw material to create cosmetic, toiletry, and drug product formulas in accordance with the company SOP’s, GMP’s and government regulations.

Starting Rate:
Day shift $24.09/hr
Aft Shift premium: $0.50
Night Shift premium: $3

Timing:
Days: 6:30am-2:45pm
Afternoons 2:30pm-10:45pm
Nights: 10:30pm-6:45am

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Batches liquids
  • Plans and coordinates equipment and facility requirements to meet short and long term scheduling objectives. 
  • May assist in developing more junior staff through training.
  • Improves the profitability by output and efficiency of the batch. 
  • Follows GMP procedures in compliance with government and corporate regulations/guidelines. 
  • Follows SOP’s in compliance with government GMP’s and corporate objectives. 
  • Ensures the schedule is followed to meet set timelines.
  • Responsibilities may include manufacturing pilot batches and participating in troubleshooting problem batches. 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • B.Sc. in Sciences is desired but not required. 
  • 3+ years of compounding experience. 
  • The ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Basic math skills
  • Problem solving, decision making skills and troubleshooting capabilities 

Physical Demands: 

  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds
  • Repetitive movement over extended periods
