Warehouse Facilitator

Role Purpose:

Warehouse Facilitator is responsible for all functions and paperwork relating to the warehouse and assists in shipping and receiving materials. The Warehouse Facilitator will have knowledge about and be responsible for all items stored in the warehouse area and will assist the Shipper with processing all incoming orders of supplies and outgoing orders of finished product.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Organizes, tracks and stores packaging materials such as wraps, shippers, boxes, labels required for the lines, when received into plant
  • Organizes and tracks all chemical materials such as fragrances, soap bases etc.
  • Ensures all required materials are in stock, to complete orders for each line
  • Fills orders for packaging and chemical materials, and other stock required for each line
  • Pulls orders (required production materials for line supply such as wrappers, shippers, and cartons) as well as chemicals for amalgamation and puts materials away following completed jobs
  • Reconciles and closes all finished jobs in DEACOM
  • Responsible for inventory cycle counts to maintain accuracy and adjust where necessary using bar code scanner, to scan codes and track inventory in the operating system DEACOM.
  • Operates stand up lift truck.
  • Operates sit down lift truck to assist with unloading shipments or shipping finished goods.
  • Performs general physical activities to load, unload, sort, and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
  • Examines shipment contents and compares with records to verify accuracy of shipment
  • Packs, seals, and labels materials to prepare for shipping
  • Adheres to warehouse, shipping and receiving policies/procedures, and regulatory compliance procedures
  •  Maintains compliance with laws, regulations, and/or standards and completes appropriate documentation as required
  • Maintains warehouse area and shipping/receiving area as required
  • Accurately retrieves product in accordance with printed orders
  • Enters data and information into the computer system regarding product that is being shipped.
  • ISO9001 and ISO22716 SME – liaison for GMP and ISO audit
  • Production scanning – backs up line supply for scanning finished production

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Secondary High School diploma
  • Able to read, write, and follow instructions
  • Ability to work in a team setting as well as individually
  • Raymond Reach, Lift and Walkie trained and certified preferred
  • Basic math and writing skills
  • Experience with Office programs such as Word and Excel
