Wat ga je doen?
Als Demand Planner speel je een belangrijke rol in het verbeteren van onze vraagvoorspellingen en voorraadplanning. Hoe beter jouw analyses, hoe efficiënter onze operatie.

  • Je ondersteunt bij het opstellen en verbeteren van vraagprognoses (kort & lang termijn)
  • Je analyseert verkoopdata, signaleert afwijkingen en volgt markttrends
  • Je werkt nauw samen met Sales, Marketing, Logistiek en Productteams
  • Je bewaakt voorraadniveaus en voorkomt tekorten of overschotten
  • Je beheert en verbetert forecastdata en rapportages in systemen
  • Je ondersteunt het S&OP-proces en helpt bij de voorbereiding van meetings
  • Je draagt bij aan forecasts voor nieuwe producten en uitfaseringen
  • Je stelt inkooporders op en volgt deze op richting leveranciers

The Opportunity:

The Junior Demand Planner supports forecasting and inventory by analyzing sales data, building models, collaborates with sales, customer service & marketing, and maintains system accuracy. The more precise the demand forecasts are, the better a company can manage its inventory, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
 
  • Forecasting Support: Assist in creating and updating demand forecasts using historical data, trends, and promotional insights for short/long terms.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales figures, identify variances, research market trends, and maintain forecast accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Product teams to understand drivers and align plans.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, identify potential stockouts/overstock, and help coordinate with suppliers.
  • System & Reporting: Maintain forecast data in systems, generate reports, and contribute to process improvements.
  • S&OP Support: Help coordinate Sales & Operations Planning meetings and gather data.
  • New Product Support: Assist with forecasts for new product launches and phase-outs. 
  • Purchase Order Management: Create, review, and maintain purchase orders to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with demand and inventory plans.
  • Supplier Coordination: Manage supplier relationships by tracking purchase order progress, following up on deliveries, resolving discrepancies, and supporting on-time supply execution.

Qualifications & Experience:
 
  • MBO or HBO degree in Supply Chain, Business or Statistics.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in operational environment, preferably with an international focus, working with transporters and customs agencies is an advantage. Prior internship in Demand Planning/Supply Chain is preferred.
  • Good skills in basic computing, MS office, Excel, Word, Power point, Internet etc
  • Proficient organizational skills with the ability to effectively work on multiple projects
  • Excellent analytical skills, eye for detail and solutions oriented
  • Sense of urgency, with the drive to get things done
  • Cross-functional thinking and a collaborative personality
  • Strong operational understanding of customer programs and contract compliance
  • Able to set priorities in a continuously changing environment
  • Fluency in written and spoken Dutch and English
  • Proactive / self-directed, takes initiative and can work well independently
  • Detail-oriented, process-drive, resilient and collaborative
